Our Deep Roots

PRE-1975

Long before the diaspora, the Vietnamese people were shaped by thousands of years of rich history and vibrant culture. POST-1975

Rebuilding & Contributing

Following the events of 1975, countless Vietnamese families embarked on perilous journeys in search of freedom and safety. Arriving in Australia, these pioneers faced the monumental task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up in a new and unfamiliar land. Through sheer determination and hard work, what began as a struggle for survival transformed into a powerful narrative of contribution. Over the past 50 years, Vietnamese Australians have woven themselves into the multicultural fabric of Victoria, enriching our society through vibrant enterprises, civic leadership, and a steadfast dedication to supporting one another.
