AVWA Representatives Speaking at Parliament

AVWA CEO, Nicky Chung, Operations Manager, Huy Luu and Hai Anh Bui, Counselling Lead were invited to speak at Parliament on Tuesday 20/02/2024.

They were joined by many of Members of Parliament during their sitting week, and their staffers for a talk that covered many topical issues.

The AVWA team shared their knowledge and experience about how and why the Vietnamese population has evolved in Victoria, learnings over the past (almost) 50 years since Vietnamese refugees started arriving in Australia, and how AVWA is evolving its services to meet the needs of the Vietnamese community, now and into the future.
